Key Responsibilities for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs):

• Manage admissions, discharges, and transfers of residents
• Handle medication requests with pharmacies and physicians
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Follow infection control, emergency procedures, and other facility policies
• Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for residents
• Recognize and report any changes in residents' conditions to the appropriate personnel in accordance with facility policies

Qualifications for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs):

• Valid LPN license issued by the state
• CPR certification required
• At least two years of prior nursing experience preferred
