As LPN, it is essential to oversee admissions, transfers, discharges, while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to report all changes in residents' condition. You will also be responsible for managing medication requisitions and administration, in line with hospital policies. To qualify as LPN, you must be licensed by the state, have CPR certification, and have at least two years of prior nursing experience

• Admissions policies and procedures are developed to ensure that all residents receive appropriate care and services while in the healthcare facility
• Medication needs addressed through collaborative efforts of pharmacy and doctors
• Medication administration
• Conforming to infection control, emergency, and other policies of the center is necessary
• It is necessary to collaborate with a resident's interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes
• A key responsibility of care providers is to recognize any abnormal changes in residents' health and behavior and report them promptly to ensure that they receive the necessary medical attention

To be eligible to take the NCLEX-PN, aspiring LPNs must have a high school diploma or equivalent, complete a state-approved nursing education program, and meet state-specific requirements:

• A license from the State is required for LPNs to work
• CPR Certification required
• Two years of nursing practice is a requirement that is highly recommended
