As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you oversee the management of medication requisitions and administration, ensuring all policies and regulations are adhered to. You also collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to recognize any changes in residents’ condition that require immediate action and provide the best outcomes for residents. To qualify as an LPN, you are required to be licensed by the state, certified in CPR, and have at least two years of prior nursing experience

• Healthcare professionals must collaborate to ensure that any legal or financial requirements related to admissions, discharges, and transfers are met
• Fulfillment of medication requirements through the cooperation of pharmacists and physicians
• Medication administration
• Complying with the center's guidelines for infection prevention, emergency response, and other protocols is mandatory
• A resident's interdisciplinary team is an integral part of providing the best possible outcomes for them
• Alertness to small changes and paying attention to residents' unique needs are two important factors in detecting any abnormal changes in their condition

In addition to clinical skills and knowledge, LPNs must also demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and exceptional attention to detail:

• LPNs are granted a license by the State to practice
• CPR Certification required
• A minimum of two years of previous nursing experience is preferred
