Location: 4125 W Sample Rd, Coconut Creek, FL 33073
Position: Clinical Unit Manager (RN) (Part-Time, Weekends Only: 7:00 pm - 3:00 am)

Role Objective:

The Clinical Unit Manager (RN) plays a critical role in overseeing nursing operations in our long-term care facility, ensuring compliance with professional standards, organizational policies, and government regulations. The focus of this role is to ensure the highest quality of care for residents by managing nursing staff and maintaining quality assurance protocols.

Main Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage nursing staff involved in quality control and resident care activities.
• Help identify potential risks in clinical care and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Communicate physician instructions to staff and ensure proper task delegation.
• Conduct patient rounds to assess residents' conditions and ensure proper documentation of care.
• Facilitate investigations into any incidents and ensure timely, accurate reports.
• Ensure infection control and biohazard protocols are met through data collection and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Active R.N. license with a preference for those experienced in long-term care or geriatric populations.
• CPR certification is required.
• A minimum of three years of nursing experience, with at least one year in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to plan and manage nursing operations across departments.
